History: You are high if you think I'm taking any orders from you.
Personality:
The one way to phrase Molly's personality is 'full of possibilities'. It's hard to pin down the oldest Carpenter girl to just one aspect of who she is, because she is open to becoming so many things. In many ways, she is a mirror, reflecting back both the best and worst of what people assume of her.
Her brothers and sisters see her as a protective eldest, and she'll kick ass as the Head Jawa if need be. Her parents see her as stubborn as a mule, and she'll go toe to toe with her mother nine times out of ten. Harry sees her as fragile, and she'll fall apart on him and him alone, but he also sees her strength, and for him she'll move mountains, one small pebble at at time. She is funny for those who need humor. She is warm, for those who need care. She can turn from the seductress to the young, lost girl on a hairpin turn. She is loved, she is feared, and she loves and fears in equal measure. She is the sum of all her parts, good and bad.
The one thing you have to know about Molly is that she has accepted all of this about herself. She has accepted that she is the oldest of seven children, and that means she is both sister and half-mother to her siblings. She's accepted that her father sacrificed for the greater good, and she is her father's daughter in more ways than one. She knows that Harry has put his head on the chopping block for her, by speaking up for her with the White Council after she used dark magic to mentally control her friends. She knows that she has to live up to his example, even if that example is born through fire, and blood, and his own mistakes . She knows her faults have made her vulnerable to the dark powers around her - the Winter court, the demons that her father have been fighting his entire life. She knows that her strengths are what keep to the side of the light - that have her use her powers protecting those who could not protect themselves. In the past, she was a manipulator in dark places, and now, she works against her own instincts to bring clarity to the darkness all around her, and to those she loves.
That for all she can see in the hearts and minds of others, the greatest truth she has ever discovered is that she knows who Margaret Katherine Amanda Carpenter is. That she will do more, be responsible for more. That a weight rests on her shoulders, because she knows all the costs. She grew up well before her time, and with that growth came all the growing pains. Now, she's a young woman who knows her own body and charms, and it's limits and its strengths. She knows she is a wizard, and what that power means, and how she is chained to it and responsible for what she does with it in turn.
She is the Knight of the Cross's daughter, she is Harry Dresden's apprentice. She might be the strongest psychopomp in centuries. She will be more than that, in time. She will be the Grey Lady, the Winter Lady, but that is in her future. She knows who she is, forged in fire and frost and blood. She doesn't know if she'll live to see long into her future, but she knows she'll treasure every scar, now.
Who she chooses to be in Telios though, is who she is striving to be... a good person. A hero. Someone that no one has to ever wonder whether or not she'll do the right thing. She will be the good person that Harry and her father always thought she could be. The shining possibility, out of so many others.
Powers/Abilities: Molly is trained wizard (apprentice she'll call herself still), under Harry Dresden. However, her powers differ in the way that she has a more delicate, sensitive touch, making her more adept at creating veils and illusions. She is also sensitive to other people's emotional and mental states, which can sometimes make her feel overly empathetic with any negative emotions that might be around. She has some skill in mental manipulation, but she is not allowed to use such gifts, under the threat of death by the White Council. She's a horrible cook, but can make a decent cup of coffee, and beyond being organized as hell, she knows her way around a first aid kit
Appearance: Molly is what one would call a young, gorgeous Amazon. She stands at right at six feet, with blonde hair she tends to either dye many colors, or just streaks. She has a few piercings left - one in her nose, and several in her ears, along with one through her belly button. She wears clothes on the more 'hippy' 'goth' side, although on her more relaxed days she prefers jeans and some sort of Star Wars/Star Trek teeshirt with her Doc Martins. She has a number of tattoos - a snake curling around her neck and down the front of her side, tribal tattoos along her arm, and a phoenix on her left bicep.

You know, I get the whole prison sentence thing. We've all done bad things - some of us more than others. And yeah, sometimes it feels like we're literally getting away with murder. So I can see why the powers that be would want to stand up and give us a good clout upside the head.
I even get why they put us in this place that is something like ... I don't know, the luxury version of Grecian work-camp. Let us earn things like houses and french fries, but even more importantly, the things that made us unique. Different. Our powers, our gifts, even our curses if we saw them that way. Because they were gifts, and we should appreciate them. So yeah, I'm down that. Mature enough, even.
This is what I don't get. How can they be so cruel to keep me from Chicago style pizza? I mean, seriously? Sure, take my magic, but why are you keeping me from deep dish? I haven't done anything bad enough for that!
Sigh. Bunch of pizza-Nazi-superpowered-punks around here

Molly had been waiting for this for a long time.
She breathed out, slowly, raising her hand up in front of her while she concentrated. Closed her eyes. Got her focus. Reached deep down into that place inside of her where her will lived, and called out to it. Sang it back into being awake, after so long. Her lips parted to mutter the words under her breath in a quick, breathy litany, before she lifted her fingers, and twisted.
And the candle in front of her lit. She opened her blue eyes, staring at the flame for a moment. Breathing out slowly, as she lifted her hand to touch the flame. It burned her fingertips, and she felt a grin touch her lips, even when she felt tears spark her eyes.
She was back. Now, to see what kind of trouble she could get into here, in Telios.
